Clive Norton is a Co-Head of the Goldman Sachs Private Equity Group (PEG) in Europe. Mr. Norton is based in London and joined Goldman Sachs and PEG in 2002. Mr. Norton was previously a Managing Director in the Private Equity Group at Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for marketing a wide range of funds to UK, European and Middle Eastern investors.
Prior to working in private equity, Mr. Norton spent 12 years in the Equities Division at Merrill Lynch and Smith New Court, during which time he held management positions in India and Japan. Previously, Mr. Norton spent 10 years in the shipping business. Mr. Norton graduated from Oxford University.
