In 2003 London Business School launched its inaugural Private Equity Conference bringing together students, academics and private equity professors to discuss the state of the industry and new and emerging trends in the private equity industry. The event was a great success and this year's conference is expected to surpass this benchmark.

Co-Founder of Amadeus Capital Partners. Martin Halusa, CEO of Apax Partners will deliver the closing keynote speech.
Over thirty senior professionals from firms such as The Blackstone Group, HarbourVest, Benchmark Capital, Atlas Ventures, Barings Private Equity Asia and the EBRD, will share their perspectives during seven interactive panel discussions.
Leading industry professionals and distinguished academics will address delegates through a series of speeches and panel discussions on topics including buyouts, secondaries, turnarounds and
venture capital. In line with this year’s theme, the conference will include discussion panels dealing specifically with investment opportunities and trends in Eastern Europe and China.
The Pre-Conference Dinner will be held on the eve of the conference. The dinner provides an opportunity to mingle with a select group of invited guests. The venue for this year's dinner is The Lanesborough.
