As distressed companies consistently prove to be high return investments and with numerous
opportunities available in a flagging economy, many investment and operational professionals
have broadened their service scopes to encompass the turnaround market.
Much like leveraged buyouts in the 1980’s, the art of engineering and executing a successful
turnaround is continually being refined. This panel will pull insights from some of the leading
players in this field and intends to paint a picture of how roles will shift and firms specialize
as the industry matures in a few years.
Our panelists will address the changes in the way that the turnaround process will be executed given
the upswing in the market and the influx of new players into the field. Given the increased popularity,
sophistication and specialization in the turnaround field, who along the value chain will add an
increasing proportion of the value and how will each of the players differentiate themselves?
