In 2003 London Business School launched its inaugural Private Equity Conference bringing together students, academics and private equity professors to discuss the state of the industry and new and emerging trends in the private equity industry.
The last conference, held in May 2004, was opened by Dean Laura Tyson. Keynote speakers included Brian Larcombe, CEO of 3i, Jeremy Coller, founder of Coller Capital and Anne Glover, Co-Founder of Amadeus Capital Partners. Martin Halusa, CEO of Apax Partners delivered the closing keynote speech.
The 2005 Conference will be held on the 13th of May at London Business School. A pre-conference dinner will be held on the evening of the 12th of May, preceeding the biggest conference yet with 10 panels and 2 keynote speakers; Todd Fischer from KKR and Dalip Pathak from Warburg Pincus. With the Private Equity Industry finally starting to pick up after three very quiet years, this year's Conference promises to be the most exciting yet.
