The panel aims to understand the current fund-raising environment and consider the outlook going forward. In particular, it aims to consider:
• The changing expectations on investor returns from PE;
• The implications on deal flow of changing expectations for investors in terms of desired returns, management fees and fund focus;
• The tussle between smaller focused funds and larger funds in raising finance; and,
• The effect on fund-raising of hedge-fund (and other) capital pushing onto private equity. |
